Congratulations to Students Dominic and Andrew!

I'm so proud of Dominic Catalfimo (1st in the state) and Andrew Augeri (3rd in the state) for their amazing performances at NHMEA Jazz All State Festival this weekend!

One thing I love about them is how they both play with such conviction and confidence. When you're the drummer in a band there's no where to hide, you have to bring it! They both crushed their performances and made me immensely proud.

In the past three years, 18 kids have been selected in the entire state of New Hampshire to perform at this festival. 10 out of those 18 kids are/were private students of mine. I'm incredibly proud of this. All I have ever wanted to do since I was a kid was to play, learn, teach and empower others through music. I feel like I'm achieving that and I hope I get to do keep doing it for the rest of my life.
